People often joke that real estate agents “just open doors and cash checks.”

Here’s the reality: we’re part therapist, part chauffeur, part stager, part cleaner, full-time deal juggler, late-night negotiator, and—yes—professional animal-odor truth-tellers.

We log over 30,000 miles a year, field calls at every hour, manage meltdowns, tackle inspection surprises, and keep every client, lender, inspector, and title company in the loop. Behind the scenes, we’re also updating files, keeping up with continuing education, adapting to ever-changing forms, regulations, and of course—those tricky water rights in Colorado.

So when someone says agents “aren’t worth it,” I smile… and imagine inviting them to juggle a mouse infestation, respond to offers, draft contracts, weed a flower bed before photos, and still make it to a listing appointment—all in one day.
